No Time for a Long Rest

 Nearly one day after our last Puppies left for California and Pixie went into Season.  Two days later Lucy started her run as well. It is Lucy's turn in the pairing rotation and there's still a bit of time before things get really crazy, but  it might have been nice to have a few weeks where our Hounds just played on the Farm and little else. But nope, we are right back into trying to control nature once more.

Today it is all about dogs running around catching things and having fun. Tomorrow might be a bit less happy and a bit more snappy and snarly.

Once Rocky loses his mind and quits eating (breeding is hard on the boy, he thinks of nothing else) we'll put Lucy and Rocky in the same space until the job is done. We have been waiting for a bit of time off to move our segregation kennel so that we can build wood decking on that side of the house. Now it seems we are needing to get the job done a bit sooner than later.
