Once upon a time we forced people to wait for six long weeks before choosing a new baby. The idea was to make people happier, but it didn't work. Now we have people picking Babies at just a few day old, despite our trying to hold things off a bit. This generates more happiness generally even though it makes some people a bit nervous (including us). We had Seven available and four of these are already taken by good families, leaving us with three wonderful Baby Boy Bassets still available, no girls.
