Reisen has chosen a new family and will be going to California sometime in September. We arranged for a Skype visit since traveling before meeeting everyone wasn't an option.
Late Summer litter's delivery dates often conflict with back to school dates and vacation schedules so we get to keep the babies a bit longer most years. We allow families to leave their puppy with us, for advance Basset Training, until twelve weeks.

He has his eyes wide open, one of the few, and he's looking to explore everything he sees. And although he's not especially cuddly, he will probably make for a great family dog because he's built tough. . Reisen has an asymmetrical nose fur which gives him quirky good looks. If I would keep one, Reisen would be in the running. from what we see here he will be a great Basset.
