Are you a Rocketdog Owner?

Do you have one of our puppies and don't even know it?

We might help you find out about your puppy's background. . . .

These wonderful people help to find homes for many of our puppies.

First things first: We have had just three litters of puppies. All are sired by Clarke Bar Griswold. If you have the AKC paperwork we sent with the puppies and the sire is our Clark, the you have a Rocketdog Basset Hound (you lucky people).

If you did not receive the AKC paperwork: Then your best bet is to try and find out if your puppy has the same markings as the wonderful Basset Babies we sold. Look at the back of the dog and see if the patterns match any of the following puppies. The colors might have changed.

If you think you have one of our babies, get in touch.

Have you seen any of these?

Clarke Bar Griswald and Carmel Corn SanDiego had six, four of which went to the Critter Cabana.

This puppy was once called Junior Mint. She is now called Barbie 2.

His new family is known to us, so this is not your puppy.

This puppy was called Milk Dud. He is now called Gus.

His family is known to us as well.

This beautiful puppy was called Scotch Mallow.

Her family name is Clover and she takes care of a special needs family.

This little girl was called Skittles.
We have lost track of her.

This beautiful little girl was once my favorite. Her name was Sugar Baby and we miss her awfully.

Tootsie Roll was a very good girl. Do you have her?

Clarke Bar and the Cinnamon Bear had nine, all of which went to the Critter Cabana. We hope to see them again.

May 29, 2016 Puppy Update

The puppies are one week old today. Scott Johnson at Critter Cabana has agreed to take the entire litter, so finding homes for nine puppies is no longer a worry. Cinnamon has been a good mom, but she tends to be very protective  (having attacked Carmen a few times for just looking at the puppies).

They are ALL squirmy, the are ALL grumpy, they are ALL hungry ALL of the time. There is a lot ore puppies this time and they are eating in shifts. Their weights at week one are pretty good. none of them have gained a lot of weight.
  • Count Chocula has achieved 15.3 ounces, up from 12.1
  • Sugar Pop had reached 15 ounces, up from 11.8
  • Cocoa Pebbles 15.5 ounces up from 12.4
  • Lucky Charms 15.3 ounces, up from 12.7
  • Toast Crunch is only 14 ounces, but looks much bigger and has gained. Up from 11.9
  • Cocoa Crispies is a mere 13.8 ounces, tiny and only up from 13
  • Alphabits is really little at 12.8 ounces, I don't know where she started.
  • BooBerry 13.8 ounces and is making prgress from the original 9 ounces
  • Honey Comb 13.1 ounces, up from 10.8
All are healthy and Ann did the de-dew-clawing a few days back. Not a trace of it remains today. We should start seeing eyes pretty soon.

May 24, 2016 Puppy Update

The puppies are three days old today. Cinnamon is cleaned up and things are settling into something of a routine.  Not too much to report. Toast Crunch escaped the whelping box on day two, forcing us to buy a wading pool. This worked out well because Cinnamon is larger than Carmen and also had many more puppies. Here are today's pictures:
