September 28, 2017 Puppy Update

Carmen is doing just fine, but Cinnamon added some complexity to the mix by going into season. So not only do we need to spend extra time watching after Carmen, we have to keep the girls separated from the boys. We do this by rotating them through gates. We put one pair out in the front yard, move the second out of the puppy room, then open the gate between the front yard and puppy room. Then we just repeat this about six times a day. But it seems to work (unless you count Cinnamon's last unplanned litter.).

A call the other day warned me that it might be hard for people to get in touch. E-mail is the best way to make initial contact. CreeksideFarmOregon@gmail.com will get to me and we can do phone numbers a bit more privately.

September 22, 2017 Puppy Update

Carmen is progressing apace. No signs of any trouble, other than needing a bath. (They all do.) She is carrying the babies a bit higher than the last litter, but is also carrying them effortlessly. This was not the case last time. Cinnamon's second litter was much easier for her too. We hope this will be, at any rate. The sweet little girl is very cuddly and sits on my lap every evening for half an hour or so. She expects that my lap will be empty and can be quite vocal about it. Often it is not. But she is persistent.

October 4th is still the date to look for. But everything in it's own time.

September 14, 2017 Puppy Update

Carmen has kicking babies!

And she's handling the pregnancy much better the second time around. We were a bit worried when she lost some fir on he hind end. Last litter she completely blew out her coat, in Winter. But she hasn't dropped any more fir so it seems.

She is a bit lovey dovey on a regular basis. But now she is a lapel pin on my chest most nights.

Things are going along very well.
We will be delivering puppies to their new families at Christmas time this year.

September 3, 2017 Puppy New Update

CarmelCorn SanDiego is beginning to show obvious signs of pregnancy. We expect delivery around October fourth and are taking reservations. You can learn more by contacting us directly, or by looking at our blog as we go forward. Write us: CreeksideFarmOregon@Gmail.com.

We are in the Pacific Northwest and usually deliver within the region, but can ship as needed. Breeding rights and delivery fees are all described on our blog. The puppies will sell for $1200.00 (U.S.). We expect these will be an exceptional litter, as was the last from these same parents. Click here to see some pictures. More news can be found, and contacts made on our Facebook  Rocketdog Bassets Group.
