Easy Nail Trimming

This is the easiest way to get the job done.

Cutting the very sensitive "quick" will lead to bleeding, but only for a short while. Simply pack the nail with corn starch and the bleeding will stop quickly. Cutting once a week will actually shorten the nails if they have become too long. Try to cut every other week. Make it an opportunity to bond with your Basset; don't be in a hurry, always give loads of love and praise.
